Live Event Site Production Manager
DCE Productions is a leading live event company based in Tampa, Florida, committed to delivering exceptional audio, lighting, video, and staging solutions to create unforgettable experiences for our clients. We are seeking an experienced Show Site Production Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our live events.
Position Overview: As a Show Site Production Manager at DCE Productions, you will be a key player in ensuring the flawless execution of live events. Collaborating closely with Project Managers, stagehands, and support crew, you will help manage and organize the production on show sites. This role demands strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with Project Managers to develop and execute project plans on show sites.
Assist in the management and organization of stagehands and support crew to ensure efficient event operations.
Play a crucial role in the loading and unloading of trucks, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
Construct and oversee staging and set pieces to meet event specifications.
Leverage your background in event and stage set construction and fabrication to elevate the production quality.
Prior experience as a set carpenter is a valuable asset.
Maintain an impeccable driving record.
Be flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in event production and stage management, with expertise in set construction and fabrication.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
Technical proficiency in audio, lighting, video, or staging equipment is highly advantageous.
Previous experience as a set carpenter is a plus.
Willingness to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Availability for nighttime and weekend work, as well as travel.
Dedication to maintaining a non-smoking and drug-free workplace.
