As a long-time partner of First Tee Tampa Bay, we at DCE Productions were thrilled to be among the very first teams to participate in the new Short Course Team-building event at Rogers Park in Tampa, Florida. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this would be a day to remember. The event was incredibly well-organized, and the First Tee staff went above and beyond to ensure that every participant, no matter their skill level, had a fantastic time.
Our group is far from golfing gurus, so the way the whole day was planned was incredible for us. It was the right mix of competitive, fun, and team building. We will absolutely look at doing this again, it was truly an excellent day for our entire team.

Getting Started: Great Food, Energizing Atmosphere, and Learning the Basics
The day kicked off with a delicious lunch that fueled our team for the fun ahead. After a quick briefing, we were divided into small groups and paired with knowledgeable golf trainers. The staff was fantastic—whether we were learning the fundamentals of swinging, putting, or understanding the rules, they made sure the experience was approachable and enjoyable for everyone, no matter their prior golf experience.
Hitting the Greens: Fun and Friendly Competition
Once we hit the course, the energy was contagious. We split into teams and made our way around the course, with trainers stationed at various holes to provide tips and support. Some holes featured fun challenges, but for most of us, the real highlight was spending time outdoors with our teammates, enjoying the fresh air, and fostering team spirit. It wasn’t about the score—it was about having a great time together.
Wrapping Up: Awards, Shoutouts, and Gratitude
We wrapped up the day with a fun awards ceremony that included lighthearted shoutouts and some playful trophies to commemorate the day. It was an unforgettable experience, and we can’t thank First Tee enough for hosting such a well-executed event.
From start to finish, the team at First Tee made sure everything was seamless, ensuring that we walked away with not just great memories, but a strengthened team dynamic. We can’t wait to do it again and would highly recommend this new team-building program to anyone looking for a unique and engaging way to bond with colleagues.
